Yep, I do get a craving for the flame-broiled meat patties, but I don’t see why they think they need to be so blatant. Just as I quietly stopped buying Sam Adams, I will quietly stop visiting Burger King. I didn’t eat at Carl’s Jr. for nearly 12 years because I didn’t like their commercials.

If I was a Burger King stockholder, I’d be livid. Why in the world pick sides in the culture war? Do they really, really think this is going to increase sales? I’m probably an exception, but I take the culture war into account when I make buying decisions. I once was a Sam Adams fan, but now I really don’t want to buy their beer. Why don’t these companies just concentrate on producing quality products and stay neutral? Wouldn’t that be best for business?

Frankly, I now hope Burger King goes bankrupt. It wouldn’t bother me one bit. See? They made an enemy for no good reason at all!
