bad poll numbers for Obama? Are that many people racist???

After all, we have been lectured, by so many, from Jimmy Carter on down, that opposition to this president is due to racism.

One thing I never understand — if America is racist, bigoted, etc. for opposing Obama and his policies, how is it that a racist bigoted society elected him in the first place? And then re-elected him, if America is so racist they can’t abide having a non-white president?????

Ironically, even though Obama is probably the most ideologically left-wing president since World War II, I wouldn’t put him in last place. I think Nixon actually did more damage, and Bush II definitely was a bigger spender.
