In that link, Spike Lee's lawyers files a motion to dismiss the lawsuit claiming that $10,000 ought to be enough to compensate them for their trouble.

The couple said no and apparently the lawsuit continues.

Yeah but, that motion is dated November 12, 2013,
I can't find any up-to-date news on the status of the suit.
