Thanks, Luv....the new car is working well. I learned how to use the A/C on Thursday. It works great for my Mom as she can just back up to the seat, sit, and then swing her legs in. The smile on her face of getting in by herself, and not trying to step up, is worth it all.
Today was really rough as I found her crying. She said, “It’s catching up to me. I can’t remember anything”. She’s 89. She was despairing over her Outlook email program. So I sat with her and we went one step and one question at a time....writing everything down for her to reference later. This evening she said it went pretty well. I will be keeping a close eye on her. I told her to call me the minute she got confused or had a question so I could find out the issue right away. If she gives up on her computer and email, she will sit and die.

And you are lucky to have her around still! My mom died when I was 26. :(
