Definitely!
As for gluten, we ditched gluten as a family 2 years ago to see what would happen and several family members improved certain areas of their health dramatically. One example is that 2 weeks into it my son’s daily headaches just stopped.
There are many in-depth scientific studies done showing the adverse effect of gluten on the average Joe. So, not sure what this Bruce guy is talking about.
It’s hard to go 100% carb free. Maybe 30-34 grams per day.
That’s all I’m counting. I lose weight and inches and it’s good for me to be low sugar.
Nor sure all the foods that have gluten, but haven’t had bread or dough for 3 weeks.
Type 2 diabetes
How about posting links tro a few of those many studies.
A) Have you actually read any of those studies?
B) How do you know gluten caused your sons headaches rather than any of the other hundreds of ingredients/compounds that would now be avoided from swearing off any gluten containing foods?
There aren't though. Not unless you have Celiac Disease.
So how did you ditch gluten? Avoid foods that contain it? What else was in those foods?
Ok, you said “ many in-depth scientific studies done showing the adverse effect of gluten”, now name or link to “these” studies. I am sincerely being open minded, but it sure does look like a genuine Food Fad to me.

Gastroenerlogist (sic?) told me to stop daily. Stomach upsets lessened.
I stopped gluten on my own and felt even greater results.
I'll give up dairy and gluten if it means I don't need to be medicated just to feel comfortable.
So, I am one of the 133!
