Centuries ago, just after America won its War of Independence versus King George III, two Europeans giants again battled over liberty versus tyranny. This struggle between Britain and France certainly involved military control of the Continent. But it was also a fight which would determine the nature of global commerce and religion.
Horatio Nelson, history’s greatest admiral battled Napoleon Bonaparte, most acclaimed general of the age. Nelson believed he fought for Christianity, free trade and liberty. Contra, Napoleon openly stood for atheism, tyranny and a globally directed economy. Symbolically, Napoleon never blinked at death and carnage, believing victory justified any human sacrifice.
Today, centuries later, Americans and the world face a similar struggle for liberty, capitalism and religious freedom, unbelievably under America’s own deranged POTUS. First, Barack has committed acts which have made defense of America’s most sacred rights harder. The rights Thomas Jefferson so memorably outlined in the beginning of his immortal Declaration of Independence:

Impeachment is less than a half measure. It would be a complete waste of time as the votes are not there in the Senate, and never will be. Any impeachment attempt will only energize the Dem base.

Now you're talking. But we need to put the theatrics aside, and call for a Convention of the States. And we need to do it NOW, because in 20 years we will be so outnumbered that it will not matter.

Impeachment is a start. Justice will be served be served when Traitorobama and his regime of thugs (including Hillary and Janet Incompetano) are indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
Yep. And the only reasonable way to do that is by a constitutional amendment: Let each state go its own way if it chooses. That would certainly be difficult to get on the books, but there are no other real options.
Folks who go for a more vigorous approach will find themselves in a Ruby Ridge type of situation.

When the Confederate States seceded from the Federal Union in 1861, they were unprepared to really form a true nation. They were composed of eleven countries, each of which had its differences with the Union, but more importantly, differences with each other. Under wartime conditions, they imposed tariffs and border patrols against their neighbors, and there was only limited pooling of resources and coordination of military actions.
There is already a number of unifying principles upon which most persons who consider themselves to be “conservative” or “libertarian” can agree, and they are of sufficient concentration throughout the territory once known as “the United States of America, to form a nearly contiguous territory or region within the larger boundaries. Those who see nothing at all wrong with the current drift of near anarchy and lawlessness, are actually contained within pockets in the larger territory, many of them far removed from each other.
So divide the territory into the separated regions, and designate them “red” or “blue”, in accordance with the electoral maps that have been created in recent elections. The divisions would not be necessarily along state lines, but by counties and/or Congressional districts, then the division would be far more rational.
We have seen this kind of solution enacted before, when Germany was divided into “East Germany” and “West Germany”.
That was a near-perfect laboratory experiment in how the control and command economy stacked up against what was essentially a laissez-faire capitalist economy. Germans being Germans, the enterprise was never COMPLETELY free. But mostly.
Build a wall around LA, SF, Seattle & Portland on west coast....and let them become hellholes.
I've written this on other posts but it bears repeating.
The half of the population that voted for the Democrats in 2012 have left forever not only the sacred compact that Americans had with each other. They also abandoned any connection with the Natural Law and thereby have abandoned forever what it meant to be human in every culture across history.
You can't celebrate sodomy and equate it with the life-giving marriage bed of a man and a woman and call yourself part of humanity, at least as that term was always understood. Likewise, you can't celebrate the murder of children in late-term abortion as a sort of feminist "sacrament" and call yourself fully human.
The Democrats have left us. We didn't leave them, they left us. They flipped the bird to Heaven, proclaimed themselves gods, and insist on legislating whatever they want, whenever they want, with due process or not, by executive fiat of judicial banditry.
They aren't Americans. They aren't really even part of humanity anymore.
WE HAVE TO GET THIS. Kicking them out of the union is the only way.
Secession is really a bucket of worms. States would be so broken in a way that some may not have proper borders to conduct interstate commerce. For instance power lines, oil pipelines, roads, etc.
So what do we do. Cry a damn lot and get pissed the day some of us sold Romney down. Good job, non thinkers.
All impeachment talk right now is Br'er Sunni-punk and his mainstream media Praetorians begging us not to throw him in the impeachment briar patch.
Impeachment is not an option.
Impeachment only works when government and society RESPECT the rule of Constitutional law.
That no longer exists.
We have a leadership and government that no longer follows the rule of law but imposes laws of their own decree while ignoring or rewriting law to suit themselves. Mostly to acquire large amounts of wealth stolen from the People to be used to further enslave them.
We used to call this tyranny.
And of historical FACT - is that you CANNOT REMOVE OR RESIST A TYRANT VIA CIVIL MEANS.
So the idea of a Convention of the States to propose Amendments is also a non-starter when the Constitution is by default no longer valid. Any Amendment they pass that the Beast disagrees with, like the rest of the Constitution will be ignored and demonized and deliberately defied by the Government.
Unless the states decree secession from the Federal Beast and are prepared to expense a great amount of blood to secure their liberty from the Leviathan, there are no options left except individual defiance and refusal to comply. I have already heard the argument that the idea of Secession was settled in 1865 - so a majority will be willing to see the Beast put down such “rebellion” by brutal force.
I’m not sure enough Americans care enough about liberty outside of satisfying their temporary urges and hedonistic desires to fight for it or even endure the privations that will come as a result of resisting the Beast. Americans who are willing to sacrifice all for the principles upon which we were founded seem to be a small minority.
The ugly truth that no Americans want to admit is this: we are no longer a united people with a common foundation for a common purpose.
That unification and foundation and purpose was founded in the Christian and biblical faith. Today we cannot even agree on what the definition of liberty is and we sat on our hands while God was removed from the public square.
Today the federal beast has made itself god, and a majority of this people have bowed down to it.

Some say the harm is irreparable. Some say impeachment must happen. Here is the biggest problem of all. The only we can do this is win the senate and as conservatives we would rather see a lib in office than a RINO.
One thing we have to take into consideration is dealing from strength. If we are the majority, senators like Cruz and Lee can make a difference. Especially if Cruz decides to run in 2016. With the majority, we can out more pressure on the RINO’s because the minute they say no, its over for their careers.
As the minority, Cruz and Lee are nothing more than thorns in the side of the RINO’s. They can be ignored and cannot be harmed politically, especially by us. Sure, we will pick off a seat here and there, but we only have 2 years and 1 election cycle left to do something or we are done forever.
Without sarcasm, snarkiness...what would secession look like? Who secedes to where? Does each state divide in half? How would that work? Please be mature in responses as I am not joking.
The House could defund the Obama Agenda and they can use their powers of inherent contempt to arrest and imprison Obama's minions. Remember, its Congress that signs the minions paychecks and they have to answer to Congress for what they do as government employees. Congress can and must hold them accountable.
If Congress fails to do its duty especially when it is controlled by the so-called opposition party then its time for the States to act to preserve their own futures.

A majority of party-line Republicans and most Conservatives think like you do. But the fact is that few of you have any idea what time it is or where we have arrived.
I keep hearing “we only have one more election cycle or we are done for” since Reagan left office. The onus that the next election will save us is folly.
Such thinking is 10 and 20 years ago. Elections are not going to save us, they are as corrupted and manipulated as the news media is. We went Soviet, and few have noticed or care to see the truth of that staring them right back in the face.
Congress IS NOT going to do as you suggest Count - even though they had the Constitutional Authority to defund tyranny.
Obama has usurped that, and this border invasion is Obama’s answer to the House refusing to do as he commanded via Amnesty.
Imagine what he will do if they actually attempted to arrest Obama’s minions. Congress is a paper tiger and Boehner has confirmed that fact while Obama illustrated that to the world.
But if Congress will not do it’s duty - We the People CAN. Forget the States securing themselves save a very few like Texas. They are as beholden to money from D.C. as the Beast itself is.
But WE CAN defund this government ourselves. If we are willing to risk what is necessary.
We have to FIRST accept and preach this fact to the country: The Federal Government NO LONGER HAS ANY - ANY LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY OVER US. It is not fit to be ruler of a free people.
IT HAS DISQUALIFIED ITSELF from any authority over us. The IRS scandal alone justifies that statement.
Obama’s oft-repeated statement “The government is us” is a bunch of crap. They are an oligarchy - having usurped, manipulated, corrupted and intimidated itself into power. Millions may seig-heil genocide and every form of wickedness, but it still has no authority over those beholden to God and His Laws as Supreme.
Once we accept the fact the Federal Government has no authority over us, we no longer are bound to support it - because doing so needs to be seen as breaking the First Commandment. This Federal Beast has made itself God - is engaged in mocking and defiling the Most Holy and His Supremacy over His people. Is imposing wickedness over us by law - and is filled with every sort of deceit and corruption.
Such an institution that we used to call tyranny - has no authority under Heaven to rule a Righteous people.
THAT is the truth that must be preached to this people at this time. Only when we accept that truth, repent of wherew e have failed and REFUSE TO COMPLY and RESIST supporting the Beast - will we have a legitimate chance to hold onto what remains of our liberty.
A intervention by the military is the only option .
