The secret of the Illsley Recital Hall at Benaroya Hall is that the acoustics are best all the way in the back (Row T) or all the way up front. If you sit in the middle, the mix is off, and the piano sounds clangy in pieces that have a piano. As a result, Row T has perfect acoustics.
