According to Edward Klein, author of Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas, President Obama and Valerie Jarrett are working to derail Hillary Clintons plan to be the Democratic nominee by urging Elizabeth Warren to run. According to Klein, writing in the New York Post:
" President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me.
Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. Theres also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago.

Obama has authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Warren to throw her hat into the ring.
In the past several weeks, Jarrett has held a series of secret meetings with Warren. During these meetings, Jarrett has explained to Warren that Obama is worried that if Hillary succeeds him in the White House, she will undo many of his policies."

“I doubt if “two people” west of the Massachusetts state line even know or care who Elizabeth Warren is.”
The rest of your comments are on mark, but not this one. Fauxcahontos was bleating the “you didn’t build that” BS before Zero. Libtards of the communist variety all over the country tapped right into it and immediately hailed her as prez material.
Not on a huge scale, I admit, but she has reach with a specific “hate America” population that reaches across the country and also resonates with Obamatrons. Plug that into Obama’s base and you’ve got something.
Not predicting it, just providing as food for thought.
Interesting, a good assessment. The only thing I can relate to you is down at an individual level I actually do see mouth-frothing grassroots commie support for warren over Hillary, although that could equally be interpreted to support your assessment simply because of the “usual idiot” factor among leftist nut jobs.
Hillary is being identified as being far too “establishment”, to be a valid candidate.
Good Lord, the past 6 years and the prospect of either of these totalitarian biddies feels like riding an out of control wagon right over the edge of the Grand Canyon.
It’s long past time for the Rats to put up or shut up about all things women. If they don’t throw a woman up in 2016, their cred is seriously on the line.
Yes, for Hillary or Warren, the thought of the left “throwing up a woman” would effectively convey presenting either choice.
I’d say with Hillary and Lizzie as the main contenders, it may well happen.
Hillary got ambushed from the left in 2008.
I think it may well happen again in 2016.
In addition she’s looking so much more old, tired, and carrying baggage from her lame SoS tenure.
I think while Warren may be the donkey's pajamas in some of the left-wing academic and media circles around the country she is a completely manufactured potential candidate. She's there to make low-information voters think Hillary is closer to Barry Goldwater than she or Barack Obama is.
I'd love to see Jesse Waters take his roving microphone to the man on the street (other than a freeper or a local radical) in, for instance, rural or sleepy suburban mid-western, southern or western areas and ask who is "Elizabeth Warren" the answer would be "Elizabeth who"?
Everyone on a Berkeley, CA or Madison, WI campus, of course, would know exactly who she is.

In July 2006 I think that people would have said “Barack who?” in the same number. Lots of people loathe Clinton and nobody, but nobody, loves her. Warren takes away the woman vote. She’s a real threat.
Bill’s Pay back!!! BWHAAAAAAAAA!!!BWHAAAAAAAAA!!!BWHAAAAAAAAA!!!BWHAAAAAAAAA!!!
Oh yeah... let Water’s do the FReepers and radicals too. If he asked me I’d say, “You mean Fauxcahontas?” Then laugh.
One could have said the same about an obscure first-term Senator from Illinois in 2008.
As I said elsewhere, Warren is a pinched-faced scold in a schoolmarm’s dress. She and Hillary should be hot numbers on the campaign trail.
