If the cooling date is indeed confirmed; they will just jump on that side of things. They will still insist on controlling the economy and use climate change to seize control of our lives.

Look for the envirofacsits to seize this as proof their programs are working, but now we must do more. The goal remains the same but they may have to tweak their argument a bit.

Exactly. Local extreme weather records are rarely broken. Normally local highs and lows fall between the normal range, occasionally they don't. That's the way it is where I live. That's weather.
