A recent report criticized a major U.K. broadcasting company for providing too much of the perspective against man-made global warming in its news coverage.
BBC Trust, which is the governing body of the BBC, released a report Thursday that evaluated the news companys coverage of science impartiality.
over-rigid (as Professor Steve Jones described it) application of the Editorial Guidelines on impartiality in relation to science coverage, which fails to take into account what he regards as the non-contentious nature of some stories and the need to avoid giving undue attention to marginal opinion. Professor Jones cites the existence of man-made climate change as [an] example of this point, the report stated of the conclusions made by Jones, who conducted the review.
This is not to say that critical opinions should be excluded from coverage of certain scientific topics, but the BBC Trust stated that coverage should not only reflect the weight of scientific agreement but it should also reflect the existence of critical views appropriately.
Judging the weight of scientific agreement correctly will mean that the BBC avoids the false balance between fact and opinion identified by Professor Jones, the report stated.
At the same time of this report coming out, the U.K.s Independent reported that a BBC radio station was criticized for

These Climate Change Proponents must have a huge financial stake in Green Energy as they try to cut off debate at avery turn. Anybody that thinks it isn’t all about the money is smoking some of that stuff sold in Colorado.
Settled science!
A thought crime to think about it!
There is a huge gathering planned in (I think) Las Vegas, for scientists who believe the Climate issues are the biggest fraud ever.
The BBC and others are getting run over by the facts, and I’ve got to say that I’m enjoying it.
“The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations most accurate, up-to-date temperature data confirm the United States has been cooling for at least the past decade.”

Churchill was largely excluded from the BBC before WW II. If the truth of what he had to say about Hitler had been broadcast, could the war have been either prevented or prepared for? How many died in that war because of the BBC's pre-war policy? And what horrors will occur because of the BBC's malignant neglect of the truth.
Not really a big surprise
probably get very little press
Where, by definition, "fact" equals whatever Warmists say, and "opinion" equals actual data such as cooling for the last decade, warmest year readjusted to 1936, etc, etc...
1.5 billion muslims can’t be wrong ....
Not good news for Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear
“Shut Up!”, they explained.
“probably get very little press”
I’m not so sure about that.
The other day - while checking out C-SPAN, I discovered a meeting by people against gun control. It was very informative, and I learned a lot.
Andrew Branca, “The Laws of Self Defense”. He said, “If liberals didn’t lie, they wouldn’t have anything to say.”
Larry Pratt, Ex Dir of Gun Owners of America.
John Lott, “More guns, Less Crime” .. Crime Prevention Research Center (founder and president).
And, Nick Adams, who wrote “American Boomarang”. He was on FOX the other day .. and I can tell I need to read this book.
I had never heard of these people before .. but now I can get Nick’s book, and glean from the teachings of the others.
