In Deep South Texas, a Daily Tide of Poor Migrants
ABC News ^ | July 7, 2014 | By CHRISTOPHER SHERMAN, AP

The influx of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border has grown so large that it now requires its own transportation system: government buses that spend each night idling on a Texas roadside, awaiting the latest arrivals.

The buses, joined by a fleet of Border Patrol vans, illustrate the immense and grindingly routine task facing Border Patrol agents in the 5-mile slice of deep South Texas that has become the epicenter of the recent surge in illegal immigration.

An AP reporter recently spent several days in this arid terrain, revealing a daily tide of migration that sends impoverished families into a harsh landscape bristling with cameras, lookout towers and heavily armed patrols. Against that backdrop, human smugglers and drug cartels match wits with overwhelmed American authorities.

We have no idea how many muslim terrorists are coming in with them. Perry has one chance to do something. If he doesn’t, Texas goes first. Then the nation.

sends impoverished families into a harsh landscape

Sends??? Who is "sending" anyone anywhere? No one is sending anyone into a "harsh landscape." If these "impoverished families" (more BS) don't like it, then stay the F home!!

Obama wants to overwhelm the welfare system with illegal aliens who care about nothing but staying on the government dole as long as possible.

Anzalduas Park in Mission, Texas, along the Rio Grande is a spot where drug cartels and human traffickers move
contraband into the United States. U.S. Border Patrol agents and the Texas Department of Public Safety
apprehended six illegal migrants being moved onto the U.S. side of the border by jet skis on June 15, 2014. Other
jet ski drivers are used as a distraction so the cartels can move narcotics at other areas of the river.

Who was it recently who said the border was secure so that did needn’t be a precondition to passage of immigration reform (amnesty)?

Interesting local story from Mission Tx

When You Think of People Illegally Crossing the Border, You Probably Never Guessed They Were Doing So Like This

Border Patrol agents in Mission, Texas, apprehended six illegal immigrants
who were being transported on June 15, 2014 by jet ski from Reynosa, Mexico,
across the Rio Grande to Anzalduas Park in the United States.

What difference does it make?

Many of the Congressfools want to pass an “enforcement first” bill that would simply require the President to deem the border secure to get amnesty.

I think he already deemed the border secure before the invasion.

***
They also care nothing about becoming citizens, and they have no allegiance to this country. They are being sent to overwhelm our population of English-speaking, industrious Americans.

Bid farewell to the rule of law, civil society, and our traditional American concept of private property.

These diseased, unskilled freeloaders are being brought here to obliterate our culture and to turn the USA into the kind of filthy Third World cesspool that they came from.

In 10 years, the nation that my parents and my teachers taught me to love will be no more.
