Uhm - yeah. Because why else would you run for office, go in debt, make all kinds of promises to those who might fire you - or worse - and then be a shrinking violet or a double crossing turd once elected? My guess is that a good number of them are closet sodomites, who have spent some time in DC’s Lambda club, while others are just your run-of-the-mill sociopaths ... And a few are clinical psychopaths - as is Harry Reid.
I am suspicious of anyone who wants to become a congresscritter. They either are corrupt, or expect to become compromised, or are too naive/clueless to understand that they are headed feet first into a proverbial wood chipper if they fail to properly “adjust”.
Somehow, some way, they all manage to adjust. DC must be a magical place.
