A slew of anti-government groups -- many of which participated in the standoff at Cliven Bundy's Nevada ranch -- are recruiting armed volunteers to travel to the Texas-Mexico border as a citizen militia to participate in "Operation Secure Our Border," which aims to stop the surge of immigrants into the country.
The groups, who identify themselves as "Patriots," "Oathkeepers" and "Three Percenters," are using social media, blogs and a 24-hour hotline to recruit and mobilize volunteers that will travel to Laredo, carry firearms and attempt to assist law enforcement agencies on the border.
However, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said they do not "endorse or support any private group or organization from taking matters into their own hands as it could have disastrous personal and public safety consequences."
Volunteers are being vetted through criminal background checks

Liberal logic. Guarding the boarders is the responsibility of government. Wanting them to do their job is pro government. Wanting them not to is anti government.
Indeed, that’s the age-old reality. Corrupt government, no enforcement, no rule of law, and only the arbitrary rule of tyrants. It becomes the outright duty of the citizenry to take the reigns, even if in the shadows of darkness. Just like vigilance committees were necessitated in the old west, to restore order to communities. With Obama, those days are returning.
Anti-government is a little harsh, I think of them as pro-American.

if the govt was doing its constitutional jobs and keeping illegals out and securing the border, instead of actually busing the illegals into the country, maybe people would appear more pro-govt.
when the people who want govt to do what they are tasked to do, are cast as anti-govt, world is upside down.
Anti-Federalists were concerned that the constitution did not equally divide power among the three branches of government. They also worried about giving the federal government the power to regulate commerce.
Obama is anti American. Patriots are pro America. Government has nothing to do with it.
