On July 7, CNN's John King told the Associated Press's Julie Pace that Michael Bloomberg's Everytown for Gun Safety has demonstrated "no influence" in the coming November elections.

I like this little dig at the NRA. Implying that the only reason that pro gun candidates get elected are because the turnout is low and a small segment of motivated voters turn the election. Hey John, the facts are the most national polls show that Americans by and large don't want gun control.

Isn’t it interesting that the article directly under this article in Free Republic talks about the 82 shootings in 84 hours in Chicago over the 4th of July weekend.
