Evidence of an Ominous American Climate Change
American Thinker ^ | 7/8/2014 | Daren Jonescu

A new "nationally representative survey" has concluded that the number of Americans who still have free minds is now low enough to warrant intensifying the psychological warfare in order to finish them off for good.

In fact, if this study from the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication and the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication can be trusted -- and with unbiased names like those, what's not to trust? -- life will be getting hotter for those frustrating American holdouts who insist on thinking for themselves when there are so many qualified experts ready to provide them with all the pre-packaged thoughts they need.

The Yale-George Mason study, found in their joint publication, "Politics and Global Warming, Spring 2014" (hereafter PGW), is heralded in a mass e-mail, which I was so fortunate as to receive, under the headline, "Americans Prefer Candidates That Support Climate Change Action."  In case the implication of this announcement is too subtle for some, there is a subtitle to clarify things: "Conservative Republicans Outside the Mainstream of Public Opinion."

If you thought a little forced laughter would get you through the truth underlying the story of a professor demanding that the funding of anthropogenic global warming "denial" be designated a crime; if you imagined it was just politics as usual when President Obama told graduating university students last month that congressional Republicans know global warming is real, but are silenced by the party's "radical fringe"; or if you believed that Michael Mann's lawsuit against Mark Steyn and National Review was just a sensitive scientist's over-reaction to having his work questioned, perhaps this study will set you straight.

Another item substantiating that leftism (I refuse to call it "liberal") is nothing but a religion with its own dogma and canons. Heresy against leftist orthodoxy will not be tolerated and will, inevitably, result in burning those heretics at the stake.

Very "liberal" of them, isn't it?

There’s a lot of fog around the issue, but I think at the heart of the matter is a small core of elites poised to make a fortune off of a carbon exchange predicated on Cap and Trade.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun

I am a classical liberal who resents the misappropriation of the handle to hide the philosophy of the fascist left.

All of that is irrelevant to the core of financial interests who are banking on Cap and Trade. My money is on them...they have a hell of a track record.

I have thought my own thoughts; derived my own conclusions; deduced my own solutions; evaluated and promoted my own self worth for employment and publication, SUCCESSFULLY; and all without the government, or some pointy headed egghead, for over 50 years!

I am NOT about to ‘effect changes’ of my modus operandi.

The definer of terms prevails in the debate. Especially when all who disagree are banned from said debate.

Dear DaveA37,
(is that the screamin’ memee a37?)

I read the book back in the early ‘80-’s, that was by scientists talking about a future ice age, which had more validity, then this constant warming thing.

Heck, here in Louisiana, the climate changes at least every hour, except when a big storm comes rumbling through.

These people are beyond clueless. Back in the days of the ozone scare everyone thought the MSM was bipartisan and concerned with facts. They also assumed scientists were also concerned with facts. Some of us free thinkers were debating the elitists back then. And those were the days when the free thinkers were a very tiny and small percentage. In current times, there are probably more free minds in America then in the past 100 years. And we all know the MSM is horribly partisan and scientists lie at will.

The heart of the matter is the same as it has always been--the persistent and perennial marxist project to advance global dictatorship by taking down the greatest obstacle to that objective--western free market capitalism in its greatest citadel, the United States.

Obama btw has been indoctrinated since youth in this and is fully invested in this goal. It renders all his otherwise inexplicable policies sensible and understandable if you assume his goal is to level America so the totalitarians can ride roughshod over it.

Obama’s goal and Valerie Jarrett’s goal.
