ISIS: Fighting 'Infidels' Takes Precedence Over Fighting Israel

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), which is now known as the “Islamic State” after declaring an Islamic caliphate, says it won’t fight Israel - for the time being.

According to Israel’s Channel 2 News, an ISIS spokesman said Monday on Twitter, in response to questions about the organization’s intentions with regards to Israel, that ISIS first has to deal with “Muslims who have become infidels”.

"The greatest answer to this question is in the Qur'an, where Allah speaks about the nearby enemy - those Muslims who have become infidels - as they are more dangerous than those which were already infidels,” the spokesman tweeted, according to Channel 2 News.

"There is another answer that gives priority to fighting those who have become disbelievers over conquest of Jerusalem," continued the spokesman.

"Jerusalem will not be freed until we get rid of the idolaters, such as the wealthy families and the players appointed by the colonial government and who control the fate of the Islamic world," he was quoted as having said.

Good news. Send guns and ammo to both sides.

When your enemies are destroying each other, it’s best to just stay out of their way.

Translation: Israel will kick butt and take names plus they have nukes. No thanks, we’ll go after unarmed, helpless people, especially women and children.

Does this mean ISIS will go after the Saudi princes and leaders in Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait and Dubai? Maybe this AlBagdhadi is so fanatical he’ll get Saudi Arabia to destroy ISIS....no one else is doing it,

Doesn't Bammy claim to be in the former group?

This actually may be a good thing. The infidels are likely the only ones doing productive work in this half-breed backwater. Let’s see how long rich muslims will back degenerate ISIS.

ISIS is after loot.

When they took Iraqi cities, the first thing they did was to loot the banks. They want the wealth of the ruling classes of Saudi, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Dubai and the rest.

Yep. Your post reminded me of something I saw way back in 1979 or so:

Maybe the Saudi’s need a little inner conflict. They have been secretly funding islamist groups for years so maybe its come home to roost in boomerang fashion to them of unintended consequences.

ISIS has their eyes on Mecca. Which means biting the hands of the ones feeding them.

This could get interesting. Obama supports the Saudis who support ISIS who hate America. If ISIS goes against the Saudis, Obama will have a decision to make.

Especially with the nod to Iran to make nukes.

Like most terrorist groups, ISIS looks fearsome against unarmed civilians, and make-believe militaries like the Iraqi Army. They avoid battles with adversaries who aren’t afraid to fight back, and have the tactical skills and resources to kill the bad guys.

Look at a current map of Iraq. ISIS-controlled territory stops abruptly at the border with Kurdistan. The Peshmerga are the local equivalent of the IDF; they have zero tolerance for anyone operating under the black flag, and ran those elements out of their region years ago.

Reports about intelligence sharing between Israel and the Kurds date back 50 years; there is also credible evidence that some Peshmerga units have been trained by Israeli SOF.

Securing a partnership with an independent Kurdistan should be one of our highest diplomatic priorities in the region. With genuine support from the U.S., a free, independent Kurdistan will be around long after Iraq splinters. Heck, even Turkey is now quietly supporting the idea of independence for the Iraqi Kurds. Who would you rather have on your southern border? A democratic Kurdistan (with growing ties to Ankara), or ISIS?

Of course, our foreign policy is now run by Barry Zero and John Forbes Kerry, so the Kurds are very wise to partner with people they can actually trust—like the Israelis.

Why can’t we just be happy if both sides lose when ISIS fights crackpot Shias?

I don't know too many Tea Partiers who advocate dismemberment of RINOs, though. Just retirement.
