The fact that a disrespectful float like that appeared in an Independence Day parade is diagnostic ... there is much anger afoot in this country ... righteous anger rightly directed at those who would be tyrants.
I wholeheartedly agree about righteous anger. But the right looses ground when it gets outside the proper arena to make its case. A parade on our Independence Day should never reflect political opinions and sentiments. That should be the one day a year we Stand United.
