Japan on Tuesday (July 8) vowed to make a stern protest to China after a regional Chinese newspaper printed a map of the country with mushroom clouds hovering over the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and accused the Japanese of wanting war again.
The neighbors have a long history of tense relations. Beijing bristles at Japan's inability to properly atone for its invasion of China before and during World War Two, and its occupation of large parts of the country.
The newspaper, the weekly Chongqing Youth News from the southwestern city of Chongqing, printed the picture in its latest edition, Chinese media reported, though it appeared later to have been removed from the paper's website version.
The picture showed a map of Japan with mushroom clouds over Hiroshima and Nagasaki - both of which were hit by nuclear bombs at the end of World War Two - and the words in Chinese and English, "Japan wants a war again."
A picture of the page was carried on the website of the Global Times, a widely-read tabloid published by the ruling Communist Party's official People's Daily.

With communists always reverse the meaning.
China wants war and is trying to distract everyone.
There would not even be an issue if China were not ramming ships, seizing islands, and threatening everyone.
After that awful Tsunami these poor people now have to worry about China.

WE already had our home port moved from Bangkok to Singapore, add the latest typhoon blowing up da place, Chinese and Vietnamese and Philippines territorial rights in conflict makes it more interesting, and who knew when Kim Jong FatBoy gonna go off.. Not too mention Hong Kong and its strive to be free of authoritarian rule.. Yeah, should be fun.
And China would not be able to ram ships, seize islands, or threaten everyone if we weren't funding their military by buying their products.
The Albert Einstein postage stamp should’ve had a mushroom cloud in the background.

time for Japan to build their own Nukes—launch a few carriers and some deep diver subs (old Friends Germany might be able to help with that). time to re-spark the old samuri spirit in Japan.
Japan has many tons of plutonium, lots of CNC equipment capable of shaping the plutonium into warheads, and lots of missile technology.
Considering what happened at Nanking, during WW II, the Chinese are perhaps ill advised to force the Japanese back into the offensive weapons business.
If Japan ran it's military budget up to 3 or 4% GDP there wouldn't be a Chinese ship left afloat or plane airborne.
