Some things never change.
I have never known anyone more devout Catholic than my parents.
I remember well in 1972 when George McGovern ran against Richard Nixon, I was embarrassed because my parents had erected a 4'x8' McGovern campaign sign with his picture on it on the garage door of our family home. I knew Nixon wasn't well liked by some but I also knew George McGovern was a raging liberal kook. Good times.
I can’t understand how anyone can identify themselves as Christians and still be rabid libs. Yet they can justify it until they are the blue in the face :(
