Did Obama Lose His Pen and Phone at the Border?

Leadership: All year long, President Obama has bragged that if Congress didn't act on his legislative agenda, he'd do so on his own. But when it comes to the border crisis, he says his hands are tied.

Back in January, Obama labeled 2014 a "year of action." He said, "I've got a pen and I've got a phone" and promised to use them to "take executive actions and administrative actions" if Congress failed to get things done.

The White House even issued a "year of action" report this week, which includes "40 actions" Obama has taken (not counting the dozens of unilateral changes made to ObamaCare).

Obama repeated this refrain at a 10 a.m. speech in Denver on Wednesday.

They are careful not to let Obama have a pen and a phone at the same time. He tries to write with the phone and sticks the pen in his ear.

I just want to know why we keep seeing the same couple of pictures of toddlers at the border and the rest are of older teens and younger adults being distributed across the USA. why are we letting them in instead of shipping them back? If we can see so many coming across the border then why no send them packing back where they came from instead of inviting them in?

Presumably, Mexico allowed them to cross their southern border. Given that, aren’t these “children” Mexico’s problem? They allowed them in; they should not have done so unless they were willing to deal with them. Why couldn’t we just send them back across the border to Mexico?

What does he need at the border? Everything is going just swimmingly. The USA is set to collapse into a ruthlessly run third world Latinesque state. That is what he wants. He has used his phone and his pen to shut down the last remnants of border enforcement.
