Does military discipline include following an order to tell less than the whole truth (or to lie) under oath?
Just wondering, not implying anything.
Not too long ago, I stated a similar sentiment on another thread and was told by a fellow FReeper that in no uncertain terms, the military swore an oath to follow the guidance of the civilian leadership, no questions asked.
I recalled that when I signed up, it was to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States...”, not some rogue administration.
You would have thought I’d tried to kick their dog....sheesh.
