At 39, men lose their sex appeal and become “invisible” to women, a new study conducted by Crown Clinic Manchester revealed.
With 1,000 people polled, 52 percent of participants and 62 percent of women said that men lose their sex appeal when they’re about to turn 40, according to the Daily Mail. The biggest sign of being “invisible” was not being eyed up or approached by women during a night on the town, according to 53 percent of participants.
At 40, men are looked at more as father figures than sex symbols, according to Express.

I think I was probably at my “hunkiest” around age 36. I met the woman who would become my wife at 37, and we got married when I was 38. Now, at age 61, I’m divorced and wanting to start over. So this article is not very encouraging.
Just...eew! What man would want a woman that eyeballed everything in town, anyway?

Too many people get all wrapped up in how other people perceive them. You can't change what they think, but you can waste an awful lot of time tryin'.
Not to me, they don't. I find many women in their 40s and 50s attractive. Which is good, because I'm 61. ;-)

Wow that article is harsh. I think some of the best looking guys in the world are in their 40’s. Josh Brolin for sure. Second only to Mr. GG2 :-)

Well, I was sorta “cruising.” As the lead guitarist/pedal steel player in a good Country band here in Northern Ohio, I did okay with women from their late Twenties to late Thirties, until I retired at 54. Running my own company during the day, and gigging 5 to 7 nights a week, plus the women, finally wore me out! But it was fun while it lasted! 8^)

Shoot, I don’t think a man even gets sexy until he’s over 40 if he keeps himself in shape.
A fat wallet is the best tool to get young women to spread their legs. How many times have we seen or heard about rich guys in their 70’s or 80’s having a “companion” woman in her 20’s or 30’s?
Oh, and what does that say about the women in question?
