Mexican-born comedian Paul Rodriguez stunned the CNN panel on illegal immigration when he advocated for DEPORTING illegal aliens who have flooded the border in recent months.

Anchor Don Lemon embarrassed himself by suggesting that  legal immigrants (meaning Hispanics) like Rodriguez can’t possibly be against illegal immigration. Wow, he really did go there.

Rodriguez would have none of it, even taking on a priest who was advocating for mass amnesty. Way to go, Paul!

They were old school immigrants like everybody else that came here very proud pro American

Well that's the problem (for liberals). Legal immigrants often respect the traditions of being American. Liberals want to chip away at that. They want to make it easy for illegals to be incorporated into America (and vote) because they won't necessarily have that pro-American "problem". Illegals just walk across and don't pay their dues. So many (not all) do not have the respect for our traditions that legal immigrants have

> Poll after poll shows that immigrants who are already here are against illegal immigration.

And conversely, poll after poll of "hispanics" show that they overwhelmingly support immigration reform.

But these purposely pro-immigration polls omit any facts about the immigration status of the participants.

If factual immigration information were also taken into consideration, it would show that the vast majority of supporters of immigration reform are also illegal aliens.

But that's not the worst part, because if both GOPe and DEMs fear losing "latino" support over immigration, that means they also KNOW AND CONDONE ALLOWING ILLEGALS TO VOTE.

As a mixed European I would say the same thing if we were being flooded by illegal European immigrants. We have too many people on welfare, too many on food stamps, too many unemployed and our national date is currently at astronomical levels. We really cannot take in any illegals. Heck some countries require legal immigrants to deposit a certain amount of cash in the bank before being given citizenship.

I worked with an American-born Mexican American.

You think I'm right wing?

This guy almost makes me blush with his views.

The only thing we EVER disagreed on was the Arizona law about illegal aliens.

He was really insulted that because he's brown he'd ever have to show his "papers".

I see his point. He's a red-blooded American. Through and through

Why SHOULD he be lumped in with illegals?

And YES, he's very anti-ILLEGAL immigrant.

“Immigration reform” is a very vague term

Wanting the border sealed and illegals deported is “reform” too

if 'pubs would start emphasizing this instead of running away from enforcing the laws we have, they'd probably make big gains among legal Latino voters.....

Yup, and yet the Republicans do not make this argument. The fact that this is a winning argument with the vast majority of Americans, no matter what their skin color or ancestry, is no mystery -- yet the Republicans don't even try to make this case. It just leads me to the conclusion that with a few exceptions (e.g., Cruz, Palin, maybe a few others), our 'leaders' just belong to the same 'Big Government' party. They'll stage their Kabuki play acting -- but they'll both just continue to push the expansion of Big Government, and the enslavement of the citizens.

That is the other side of the coin. What message does it send to the thousands who have been trying to immigrate legally and have been waiting for years? Some for decades. Our lawless president and Congress continue to reward lawlessness.

mi casa es su casa which was a courteous phrase used by those of Spanish decent that lived in Mexico and the southern US. It was a gesture of friendship and true hospitality.
I have heard it and understood it and enjoy those memories as a child.

It has lost its meaning.
I’ll never set foot in Mexico again.
It has changed and not for the better.
What saddens me is how much they had and probably will never have again.

If the history is correct Santa Anna spared the women and children at the Alamo. His counterpart today would pimp them out.

I know a lot of folks that fought to come here and got citizenship legally, not just Hispanic. It is a lengthy process that costs a lot of money.

They are furious.

Identity politics.

If you don't fit the mold that the MSM made for you, you will be forced into it anyway.

There is too much at stake, and too much money and influence lined up and mobilzed to let any one outlier to wreck it all.

Maybe he should think about changing his name to Paul Rodriguez Zimmerman?

I’ll never go to Mexico again either. I had three good, cheap vacations. Those days are gone.

The last time I was leaving, at the airport the agent was rattling Spanish at me. That was understandable since I tan really dark really quickly. (Heck, if I walk to the mailbox I get tanned, lol) I asked if he could speak English. He kind of sneered and said “Yes, but why should I?” Of course he was right...I was leaving. Not coming in to drop a lot of money in his country.

I don’t vacation often. But if I do, it will be in the US. Lots of things I haven’t seen in this country. Or this state for that matter!

The added benefit...I won’t have to deal with the infernal airlines.

That’s why I cant figure why most of the Hispanics vote for the Liberal Democrats... Most of the ones that I talk to are very, VERY Conservative! My neighbors are extremely hard workers and damn good neighbors. Guess it points to how good at mis-leading the Democrats really are, got the minorities believing the evil Republicans are coming after them. I will give them this, with the majority of the mainstream media in their pocket, they sure have gotten proficient in twisting conservatives words and making people believe the twisted misquotes...
