We would have no roads if we did not invent guns. The Mongols would have conquered the entire world. The first large scale use of the gun in warfare caused the Mongols to suffer their first loss ever. It was against Egypt. Occurred near modern day Israel. Oh and let me make a couple of other points. The United States of America would not even exist if it was not for the gun. The American Indians fought basically like Mongols. Horse archers were their main battle weapon. Although their bow did not have the range or accuracy that Mongolian bows had. There is no way Europeans armed with halbards could have beaten the American Indians. The gun formed the United States.
