I always thought that teams were named after groups that were admired and they wanted to emulate. Now I am told that they were insulting them. How could I have been so wrong? snort))))))>
Worse yet, it looks like the intention is to erase references to the Indians from our culture. They are eradicating a race of people from the consciousness of the rest of America. If I where of that heritage, I would be asking them why they are trying to erase an entire race of people.
