Putin: I Support The Struggle Of Israel Calls himself a true friend of Israel
Israel Revolt /Truth Revolt ^ | 7.10.2014 | "Israel Revolt "

On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed support for Israel in its struggle against Hamas and its supporters, and cited the three Israeli teenagers who had been recently murdered.

"I follow closely what's going on in Israel," said Putin to a delegation of rabbis. "I support the struggle of Israel as it attempts to protect its citizens. I also heard about the shocking murder of the three youths. It is an act that cannot be allowed, and I ask you to transmit my condolences to the families."

Putin referenced Jews during the Holocaust, saying, "I remember visiting in the Yad Vashem Museum in Israel, which doesn't allow anyone to remain apathetic, and describes the horrifying atrocities that occurred in those days … here too in Moscow the Jewish community established a Jewish museum that gives a bitter picture of those awful years, and at the same time gives hope to the Jewish people and the Jewish community throughout Russia."

Putin, who spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, told Sephardic Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef that he is a true friend of Netanyahu and Israel.

The group of rabbis included Yosef, former Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar, and rabbis of the Rabbinical Center of Europe (RCE).

“More like true friend of Iran”

The two are not entirely incompatible. Both Iran and Israel are deadly enemies of Sunni Muslims. They are deadly enemies themselves, but they share an enemy and that give Putin room for manuever.

Will anyone here give me one, just one, guess of how many illegals of all ages would be getting across our southern border one week after Vlad became POTUS.

In this context, it makes Putin’s claim to be a “true friend of Israel” more than merely disingenuous.

And the Iranian Mullahs have a history of calling for putting the Shi’a-Sunni differences aside for the purpose of taking out both Great and Little Satans.

I know Russia is a rival to our nation, and I know Putin is an adversary, but dadgummit, I respect the heck out of him. He's playing chess, while our Leaders are playing "Turn America Into a 3rd World Craphole".

Still, I wouldn't go so far as to move to Russia....I remember stories from the 20's and 30's, when American communists moved to Russia because they heard it was a Marxist paradise....too late, they learned it was a backward country with primitive people, ruled by a homicidal tyrant. Many were sent to the Gulag and/or executed for complaining too much.

I think that Americans pondering a move from "anti-Christian America" to "pro-Christian Russia" would fall into the same trap.

How long would free speech last too, after he nationalized the media like he did back in Russia? No more FR, that’s for sure.

Putin supports Iran, Syria, and the current Egyptian government. Same for the Chinese.

The worlds’ leaders are not only noticing the sheer fecklessness of 0bama and his lack of resolve (unless it comes to trashing his own country) they are getting very fresh lessons in the effectiveness of saying exactly the opposite of what you mean/intend.

Al Queda isn’t the only enemy of ours we are arming.

Putin is a whore, politician and nationalist.

He will ostensibly support Israel if it makes for good politics and sell nuclear materials to the Iranians if it makes good economic sense. He will make Russia as strong as possible in the remaining years of the Obama Administration. Opportunities like having this narcissistic idiot in the White House don’t come around often enough.

I seriously doubt it. For all I know, Putin might unite Canada and Mexico with the USA, exacerbating the present dilemma. Putin conquers; he does not care about securing borders. His philosophy is diametrically at odds with that of the US Constitution—just like Obama.

Not much longer than it’s lasting now under the Mahdi. The horrible thing is that the Mahdi is so evil, so anti-American, that we’re having this discussion at all.

Last week the world witnessed two biblical-sized miracles:

First, Hamas sent hundreds of missiles into Israel, even into its most populous cities, yet not a single Israeli was killed.

And, second, the most powerful leader in the world, Vladimir Putin, publicly announced his support for Israel in its war against its enemies.

On the other hand, the fate of Israel’s enemies, including Barack Obama and his supporters who have given hundreds of millions of dollars to Hamas to buy the missiles that are targeting Israel, has been extremely painful.

Every day a new, more outrageous Obama-produced scandal erupts. And as for Obama’s supporters, the greatest hellhole in America is the south side of Chicago, Obama’s primary base of support. His other bases of support, America’s inner cities, are dying with Detroit leading the way, and America’s pro-Obama propaganda organs, from the New York Times to CNN, are also falling into bankruptcy.

It’s been a good week for The One Who Never Lies, who once said of Israel, ‘’And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.’’

I think Putin is fundamentally a nationalist. He respects others who are themselves nationalists and who are strong in their stance.

I believe that is correct. Putin is a nationalist in this new age of internationalism. He also leads a nation that was collapsed by communism and is now opposed by the once-free West that is newly enamored with communism - believing that we can do it right this time.

Sadly, the world is learning that the United States is a most unfaithful ally, and sooner or later we will abandon our "friends" to the hands of their enemies. It is getting downright predictable to watch Putin step into every new vacuum that shifting American foreign policy creates...

Plus, as another poster mentioned, he could be angling to knock over the Iranian regime.

I believe Putin is cleverly working to turn our friends who Obama has openly dissed, one way or another, away from the US and toward Russia. For a nation which wants to regain the world leader class once held under Communism, they are making giant strides while - we falter and fail because of an inept POTUS and Department of State. If only our friends will give us until 2016 to redeem ourselves as a nation.

Putin’s Chekist dictatorship already recognizes Palestine as a sovereign nation. Mahmoud Abbas is a Russian trained Kremlin agent. Russia does not consider HAMAS to be a terrorist group at all and has diplomatic relations with them. Putin has publicly stated that Israel should give up their nuclear weapons while at the same time he built Iran a nuclear reactor and is supplying them with the enriched uranium needed to make a nuclear bomb. Anybody who belives a single word Putin says is a complete fool.
