Game theory. If one side plays and you don’t then you lose. So, as long as Obama plays the rest of us must too.

I doubt even one kid gets deported and I think that was the plan all along. 50,000 Mexicans can produce millions of new indoctrinated voters within the next 10 years and they know it.

I stop reading when chattering class hacks like Linda Chavez say, “Stop playing politics with _______.”

Who could disagree with that sentiment?! Everyone has contempt for politics, right? I’m sure after she wrote this ineffable twaddle, Linda Chavez sat back triumphantly, as if that’s the first time that’s ever been uttered, and as if she’d made a reasoned argument. (Hot tip, Linda: you haven’t.)

Politics is never playing, and it’s neither silly nor contemptible. Politics is the system by which competing ideas about actions of government are decided.

Politics is how we make decisions in this country instead of shooting at each other.

You know where they don’t have politics? Places like Somalia, where the biggest, fattest, most vicious guy with the most guns gets his way. I prefer our system.

Politics is this nation grappling with what to do about the tens of thousands of children left on our doorstep, while still remaining a nation. It’s deadly serious, and the solution must be political. It can’t be otherwise. Because we are a self-governing people who don’t shoot at each other to decide things.

You don’t get to hold your nose and opt out of “politics” because you don’t like to get your hands dirty, or you’re just tired of people you don’t agree with fighting for their own point of view.

If you don’t want a political solution, what is it you’re asking for? You don’t even know. You just want your way and everyone else to shut up. Because opposing your ideas with other ideas is “playing politics.”

So shut up. You have nothing constructive to say on this or any subject. You never have.

Congress should insist that emergency fema camps be put up on the border, with steel buildings and guards. The illegals can be separated according to nationality, deloused, treated for diseases, clothed, fed, given a safe place to sleep, and processed for deportation back to their native country. Those that have already been bussed into the the interior of the US should be housed in sanctuary cities and blue states until they can be relocated at the emergency camp. Since the UN is always looking for an opportunity to interfere with our business, this is a chance for them to put observers, doctors and food at the emergency camps.

The Dream Act should be burned in the trash, and illegals should know they won’t get further into the US than the border for deporting.

“Politics is how we make decisions in this country instead of shooting at each other.”

If our fellow Americans hadn’t bought about a hundred millions guns in the last ten years I might believe that.

If our gov’t hadn’t procured about 5 billion rounds of ammunition in the last five years, I might believe that.

Linda Chavez is a fool and a leftist.

Her answer is : Republicans must expand the size and scope of government.

It is the left who is playing war/politics with children, this invasion seems to have been planned years in advance.

Even if they all get deported Obama will still be successful in redistributing billions of dollars. It is a win win situation.

Obama worries that if he pushes too tough of a line by seeking changes to the law that would allow for expedited removal of the kids, he'll alienate Hispanic voters.

newsflash - not seeking changes to the law is already alienating Hispanic voters - who came here legally and also see this as an invasion - especially of their jobs. Zero is a racist - he thinks all Hispanics are the same regardless of country of origin. If one puts Catholic Ireland in the same room as Protestant Ireland you're gonna get fireworks. Same same but he doesn't see it.

Obama has shown no leadership on this. He played pool and and went to parties and asked for money. Bob The Wino can do that. He doesn’t appear to be taking this seriously at all. He should have brought the cabinet together and then said, “I want you back here in four hours with plans to tell me what your organization can do to help solve this.” He played pool and went to parties and asked for money.
I fully understand the political ramifications to the Democrat Party of having Obama go to the border. I don’t give a s**t. Are they Democrats ahead of being Americans? This has been handled by the Obama Administration like the thieving, vengeful ten year old Democrats that they are.
Obama didn’t ask for any extra money when he shut down the parks and monuments. He got that coordinated, but he can’t get the federal government coordinated to deal with 50,000 people in the Rio Grande Valley? Baloney.

Obama Administration reminds me of Hamas by using these children as ‘human shields’.
These are horrible situations the ‘Progressives’ have thrust upon us. We’ve got to figure out a way to hoist them on their own petard.

Linda, take sanctuary in your uterus.

What has happened to this woman? I used to think she was sane.

Wait! Maybe I’ve been Semmens’d.

Oh Dear! Not again.

Just because they made it here illegally does not oblige us to do anything for them. They made a choice, or someone made it for them. Someone provided transportation for them from their homes, through Mexico, to the US.

They're not our responsibility. Send them back.

I had one thought about this. Were the kids kidnapped?

I had read that their families are paying the drug cartels to transport their kids here, because they've been led to believe that if they can make it to America, they won't be kicked out, then their families can join them, later. There have been ads in papers, and even billboards to that effect in Central America.
