North Korea lying to its people about winning the World Cup isn’t much different than the President of the US telling us we can keep our doctors and health care plans or creating a fantasy of some mob enraged by an Internet video causing the death of four Americans. Kim Jung-un ‘s fantasy life is only a little less credible than what we know about Obama’s past. Much of the US media slavishly reports what they are told by the White House little different than the state controlled media in North Korea.

I agree that the distinctions between North Korea’s media dominance/blackout and our own are quickly disappearing. All doubts were removed when the incompetent token, presiding over the financial disasters that marked his first term, was re-elected; the massive propaganda effort, coupled with verified voter fraud and the use of the IRS to silence enemies, was over the top.
We are North Korea’s citizens that just aren’t being lined up and shot yet.
Sorry everybody, it turns out this was a hoax, but it was a good one.
