My solution was to move to a very low-LIB state. Maryland was a hopeless morass of LIB dumba**es. After 30 years there, I decided there was more to life than coping with and fighting such self-loathing and ignorance. Escape while you can.
I am not going without my wife. And she is not going without her 93 year old mother. And she ain’t going anywhere.
So, due to my conservative values, I have to stay here.
