There is no law or border that will prevent desperate rational human beings from attempting to migrate from places of miserable poverty and chaos toward areas of prosperity and order. Simply the way it has always been throughout recorded history. American culture of course would be preserved if there was the political will to secure borders, ports of entry and enforce existing immigration laws. However the people who now rule this country bitterly resent American habits and traditions, celebrate multiculturalism, and wish to radically and fundamentally transform this country. They view American exceptionalism as a racist myth. Don’t blame the desperate migrants, blame those that now dominate politically. Elections do matter.
