DES MOINES -- A grassroots group launched an effort Tuesday to relocate at least 1,000 unaccompanied immigrant children to Iowa while political issues surrounding their plight get sorted out, a key organizer said.
Rich Eychaner, announced a “1,000 Kids for Iowa” crisis initiative to provide safe homes for children from Central American countries who currently are incarcerated along the U.S. southwestern border.
Eychaner said his foundation was calling upon the federal government to transfer 1,000 children from incarceration to Iowa to be cared for and supported by Iowa families. He said his organization hoped to coordinate and assemble the immediate support services from caring volunteers around Iowa to house, feed, care for and educate these children for as long as is necessary.
"If every state organized to accept 1,000 kids or more, proportionate to their size, the incarceration of children could end," Eychaner said. If every church in Iowa stepped up to sponsor a child, much of the need could be addressed.

Rich Eychaner ran as a “gay Republican” for some state office when I was involved in Republican politics in my 20’s back in the 1980’s. He owns radio stations or some such, IIRC.

WT...? Where the hell is Holder? This isn’t their job. It’s the FEDs job to do this? This is illegal and as unconstitutional as hell. Somebody needs to go to jail for aiding and abetting the invaders. If Joe can’t keep the bass turds out, these bass turds can’t be bringing them in! Where the hell is the justice is this banana republic?
They need to send them about 20,000. This will make the voters so mad at democrats it might just make it a RED STATE.
Where are they going? Foster homes and juvenile delinquent facilities?

If each of the huge lib Cali mansions took their proportionate share, perhaps a hundred each, the rest of the country would not have to suffer so much. Bab’s house could probably take even more than that. Gore should take at least a hundred.
These people are simply idiots. If every state accepted 50,000 there would be a calm of about a month before another 50,000 come in. And they’re stupid enough to bring kids into their homes with all kinds of diseases.
Do gooders.
The children should be reunited with their families in their home countries. That’s what churches should be supporting. A stranger, no matter how caring, is no substitute for a real mother or father.
Good luck picking 1000 kids out of a 100,000.

I wonder what the heck Barry is grinning about. I thought he didn’t “do” photo ops. He must have be lying again. Then again, I can’t see his left arm. He may have been just doing another “selfie” that he’s so famous for.
They are people from other countries who want to take advantage of a corrupt government that rewards certain lawbreakers.
