When Hillary Rodham Clinton agreed to address the University at Buffalo, the largest campus of the State University of New York system, she negotiated a few requirements in addition to her pay of $275,000.
The potential 2016 presidential candidate's agent requested that the university provide "a presidential glass panel teleprompter and a qualified operator," that Clinton's office have "final approval" of her introducer and the moderator of any question-and-answer session, as well as "the sets, backdrops, banners, scenery, logos, settings, etc," and that the topic and length of the former secretary of state's speech would be at her "sole discretion."
These requirements are spelled out in a nine-page contract between the University at Buffalo and Clinton's representatives at the Harry Walker Agency. The contract was obtained through the freedom of information law by the Public Accountability Initiative, a non-profit research and educational group.

Insanity.
Taxpayer money no doubt.
Pure money laundering, nothing more.
Next time tell her to use a Facebook page or a blog. Email works also, it could go to all the students’ school accounts, free.
With those rules, she could simply pick her nose for an hour and pocket over a quarter of a million dollars.
Colleges: Just one of many methods that democrats use to rape America.
What is most interesting about the story is that it is on the WaPo website. Is this from a blogger or did it appear in their regular newspaper? The google news search indicates it is a blog. Not bad but not nearly as significant as if it had been a regular news article.
Just so nobody is fooled by the incessant lies of the other side: The university says no “tuition” was used to finance this exorbitant contract. What is doesn’t say is that the contract was paid by mandatory student fees. Students at the University of Buffalo pay a “comprehensive fee” of a bit more than $1,000 per semester. This fee covers a variety of things (hence, “comprehensive”), including the university’s “distinguished Speaker Series. Check out the following, about one-third down the page:

Make no mistake about it: Bill and Hillary Clinton and their precious daughter have been cashing in on the American people for years.
If I were an alumnus, I'd be outraged and they wouldn't get a dime.
Kristinn,
If she can make $275,000. for flapping her lips for such a short time, would that make her one of the highest paid whores of all times? But, what does it matter, eh?
Don't these foolish kids know liberal elites need their money for self-glorification? A lot more than students need it to survive. Hell, their worthless professors are bringing down big bucks for not doing squat... teaching one or two classes a semester... what's a little more 'fun' cash for Hillary? How dare they complain.
How dare they...
I re-searched the Buffalo News website for articles related to Hitlary’s appearance at UB late last year other than a typical, glowing post-mortem, nothing mentioning the fees were noted.
The University at Buffalo is sort of the “family” Alma Mater, and a great school in the New York system for the subjects we each pursued However as such and since they ARE part of academe they suck up to the Dems & particularly to Cuomo, who has promised them mondo funding for an upcoming growth initiative (courtesy of us naturally).
There are “presidential” type teleprompters?
I bet this crisis on the border has Hillary scared. They’ll all vote for Warren. If there’s an election.
Wow, that’s $994 more than what I used to pay for on campus events. Inflation hasn’t increased that much.
I am an alum, as well. I cannot wait for the annual fund-raising phone call. They will get an ear full....but no cash.
i wonder if the IRS considers that her hourly wage.

69 -72 there was no control over anything, and I used to have to check local radio to see if the SDS and ANSWER had shut down the campus for the day before I drove there. If the money came out of srudent ac4ivity funds then it was somethi g that was supported at least by part of the student body.
I survived in the business world despite being from the BERKLEY OF THE EAST.
Waste of money-—meanwhile students pay rip off tuition prices. Lieberal edumacators are an expensive collection of loons.
