I don’t know the circumstances here but I have observed over many years the phenomenon of Arabs (a) gathering at scenes of violence rather than running from them, (b) intentionally putting children into dangerous situations, and (c) failing, whether intentionally or otherwise, to take commonsense precautions to avoid being injured. So I don’t know if playing soccer on this particular beach in the middle of a war was objectively unreasonable or not. But oftentimes it turns out that there was more to the story.
