Breaking: "Affluence" has been declared as "unfair to the less affluent." Women and children are hardest hit.

Selling info...but I can see fights breaking out if a seller can’t deliver or prevents someone other than the buyer from getting the spot.

Meh, not really a fan of the scalper, douchebag economy.

I’ll start standing in line with my friends at the grocery store and auctioning off places in line.

Sure, there clearly is a market for efficiency in certain segments, but sometimes the dorks need to stop being dbags and creating an economy based off scalping

...with spaces capped by the federal Clean Air Act and further state regulations

I'm so sick of stupid. Traffic congestion is not a result of clean air regulations, it is a result of "smart growth', the purpose of which is to frustrate drivers into giving up cars and therefore ride mass transit. Agenda 21, concentrate the masses into cities.

Lots of opportunities here to score big.

By offering a parking space, you can get someone "affluent" to drive right up to you, window down and wallet open. Sure hope the broker is on the up-and-up, or the "affluent" rube could be "formerly affluent", or an unwilling pedestrian, or a chalk outline...

I hope they block this app, and hope they find a way to enforce the blocking.

Because ultimately, it means everyone will need to use the app or have no place to park.

Which means parking that is now free, will cost.

So the only beneficiaries of this app will be the app producers, not their customers--customers who will in fact find themselves and their cars held hostage to this app service.

Wake up, people.

Technology is reducing your freedom, not increasing it.
