There was a contract labor guy here until very recently who was laid off. Good guy and hard working too. He is starting a job at some metal tab place for a little more money and a chance to apprentice welding. I think he will do well.

MS has been bloated for 20 years. They could use a good haircut. Too many middle managers and not enough creative thought allowed.

We went to Windows 7 in 2008 but kept all our Office 2003 products and still use them. That’s what I was thinking of.

Had a friend who worked at Microsoft. ..He trained his (Indian) replacement...then got laid off...yeah..I think they all vote Dem...and now consider me a pariah

We went to Windows 7 in 2008 but kept all our Office 2003 products and still use them. Thats what I was thinking of.
I'm a lot less worried about that combo, than sticking with Windows XP.

I had a friend who worked there about 20 years ago. He trained his female replacement. She didn't wear underwear. Then he was laid off.
