UN finds Hamas rockets hidden in Gaza school building during ceasefire

While the short-live ceasefire was in effect, the United Nations went into Gaza and ended up confirming one of Israel’s claims, that Hamas does indeed store rockets in school buildings:

DC EXAMINER – A United Nations agency, over the course of doing relief work on Wednesday, found rockets being stored in one of its schools in Gaza, providing further evidence of Israel’s claims that Palestinian terrorists have been using civilian areas to store and fire rockets.

“[I]n the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered approximately 20 rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip,” read a statement released by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. “UNRWA strongly condemns the group or groups responsible for placing the weapons in one of its installations. This is a flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law. This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza, endangered civilians including staff and put at risk UNRWA’s vital mission to assist and protect Palestine refugees in Gaza.”

The moment an item of ordnance is stored in a building, that building becomes a munitions storage area and is therefore a legitimate target. School, mosques, hospitals, etc, can immediately be changed into a munitions storage area. Moral to this story? Don’t hide behind the innocent.

"This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza,"

Highly unlikely

“This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza...”

If UNRWA is saying this, they must be lying thr their teeth or are totally clueless as to what’s happening around them.

IIRC, the IDF has documented many cases of schools and mosques being used for storing weaponry.

” This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza, endangered civilians including staff and put at risk UNRWA’s vital mission to assist and protect Palestine refugees in Gaza.”

The correct version is:
“ This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza, to be publicly verified and revealed by Lame Stream Media, endangered civilians including staff and put at risk UNRWA’s vital mission to assist and protect Palestine refugees in Gaza.”

You know things are bad for Hamas when even the UN starts outing them.
