I recently published an article about how Media Ignorance Is Becoming A Serious Problem. My better half wrote this week on The Death of Explanatory Journalism.
It was impossible for either of us to ignore, in our discussions of journalists arrogance in spite of ignorance, the problems erupting out of Vox.com, a site that claims to explain the news.
But even for Vox, what happened yesterday in Zack Beauchamps 11 crucial facts to understand the Israel-Gaza crisis was pretty Voxy.
Vox has corrected a portion of what it got wrong on the first crucial fact in its listing, but heres a screencap:

This vox.com site seems to be a "curent events for dummies" effort. Looks like they got confused and made it BY dummies.

You have to wonder who Ezra Klein is sleeping with to keep getting money to keep this embarrassment, Vox, going. Its a bunch of kids blogging about the news without checking any facts.

Maybe some "investors" think of Vox as a trolling expedition as well as a projection apparatus (When the bait loses the aura of deception). Vox will reinforce the idea of the news becoming "incoherent" without the filtration methods of mainstream outlets.
True believing investors who think Klein's name recognition and "millennialist" bent hope to a buck.
Unfortunately for Vox, other agitprop outlets like Daily Kos, Huffington, etc. have the disingenuous "millennialist" Bull Feces assertion blogging market cornered at the moment.

I knid of hope they keep funding Vox, though. They’re to the left like the Westboro loons are to Christian fundamentalists - if they didn’t exist, someone (in opposition) would have to create them as an exaggeration of just how “loony” the other side is.
