Approximately 90,000 minors have entered the country in the two years since President Obama, whether out of the best of intentions, cynical political calculation or as another of his serial expressions of incompetence, allowed the idea to take hold abroad that kids who were brought to the country would be allowed to stay. Numbers are swelling rapidly and detention centers are bursting at the seams. Among them are thousands of unaccompanied Central American children—approximately 52,000 since October, according to federal records .....................................................
The very young among them should find “forever families” right here, right now. They should become Americans. The process is not hard to imagine in broad outline or to implement quickly.

Approximately 11% of Mexicans live abroad so is Hewitt proposing the US let in almost a million kids right now from those three Central American countries. I am underestimating because because the 15-18 year olds are grouped in the 15 - 24 age group.

What an IDIOT! They are already Americans, South Americans, US citizenship used to mean something.

If we could make all those who voted for the Obamadork foreigners and ship THEM to some poor unfortunate country, this might be a net plus for us.
After all, those kids probably have far higher IQs than our liberal voting class.
Obama and the Democrats need some new constituents they haven’t lied to yet.

Hewitt and Medved are huge libs. Hewitt used to scream at people on-air when they took Bush to task for amnesty.
The left, who is cheering on this “Camp of the Saints” flood of children from alien cultures, will be so conflicted about the proposition to make these children “American”. The very reason the left (er, now “progressives”) likes this invasion goes to an existential reason: the left is so self-loathing they are self-loathing about the broader American society, culture and even nature as well.
The left, in short wants to impose any culture on American than it has historically had. Any culture will do for their overarching purpose which is like Boko Haram: western culture is unclean and must be destroyed. It matters not that the culture they seek to replace ours with has its own set of problems. The goal is like all of liberalism: the search to create Utopia based on any values other than those that God expresses in Scripture. Hence the aversion to anything “white”, for the left projects on to “white” people conservative, culturally Christian values and to people who are not “white” (those they call “people of color”) values that are in opposition to those.
This is deep, and deeply troubling. It will not end well, especially because it is so difficult to see the real reasons behind these events.
They don’t want to be “Americans”. They want Reconquista.
When used by the government, “humanitarianism” and “empathy” ALWAYS mean socialism. If the bleeding hearts would just bleed to death, our economy wouldn’t be on life support.
