Madness has gripped our border. I am not talking about the migrant children fleeing from crime and violence in their home countries in Central America and looking for the opportunity to live a better life. I am talking about the misguided protesters—and the right-wing public officials that egg them on, railing against anything they think even might be an immigrant.
Republicans need to get hold of themselves, understand facts and keep their anti-immigrant extremist voices in check. If they don't do it for the country's future, they should at least do it for their own political survival. Republicans cannot afford to further alienate the county's largest minority. If the GOP does not reverse its lack of Latino support, it can say good-bye to its chances of getting to the Casa Blanca.
So, how about dropping the political posturing and perhaps redeeming the party in the face of a crisis that could not be more personal to Latinos? This may be too much to ask.

Why should the GOP “show they care about the kids at the border”?
I mean, they can if they want, but it means absolutely, positively zero to me.
They're dumber than sh*t if they came here to "flee from crime and violence". Don't they ever listen to their new DemocRAT massas? America is the most criminal and violent country in the universe. Mass killings are a dime a dozen here. Entire schools have been wiped out! It happens every day! Send them to Switzerland where everyone is armed if they want to escape crime and violence.
Democrats are taking time off from their constant whining about heartless conservatives who want to break up Hispanic families by deporting illegals.

It is apparent that the only time a democrat is happy is when they’re unhappy.
Republicans have no lack of support for latinos - legal ones.
As far as ‘extremists,’ go have a talk with the hired disruptors of the Occupy, LaRaza, Brown Beret, Mencha, Students for Anarchy and assorted other loonie toon groups that show up trying to provoke confrontation.

The simple fact is the nation is being invaded. Our military should be on the border, preventing the invaders from entering the country. National defense is the reason we maintain a standing army.
Any nation that allows millions of people to invade its territory from other nations without consequences is either militarily impotent or consciously committing suicide.

We should get these kids and their families back to their homes in Central America, South America, Iran, and Pakistan where they’ll feel the love of home, NOT the cold, cruel, evil United States of America.
