Elizabeth Warren for President?
Washington Post ^ | July 18 | Dana Milbank

Posted on 07/18/2014 9:47:21 PM PDT by nickcarraway

It was one of those important-but-dull Senate hearings that don’t get broadcast even on C-SPAN 3.

An obscure subcommittee was taking expert testimony on patient safety Thursday, and only four of its 14 members bothered to show up. Several of the public seats were empty, too.

But Elizabeth Warren was in her element.

The committee’s most junior member was the first senator to arrive, five minutes early, and when it was her turn to question the witnesses she blew past the time limit. It was as though she were back at Harvard Law School, using the Socratic method to lead students to her desired conclusions in favor of stricter standards for hospitals and prescriptions.

“Dr. Jha? . . . Okay, good, and Dr. Gandhi wants to add to that? . . . Dr. Pronovost, you want to get into this? . . . Okay, so we’ve got payment responsibility. Very powerful. Dr. Disch? . . . What would be the next step? . . . Finish your sentence.”

A draft-Warren boomlet is underway, with the purpose of encouraging her to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination in 2016. It is eerily similar to the movement that propelled Barack Obama to challenge Clinton eight years ago even though, like Warren, Obama had then served not quite two years in the Senate. But while Warren is a compelling figure — a feisty populist at a time of inequality and resentment — her actions since arriving in the Senate suggest she has neither interest in nor aptitude for a presidential candidacy.

The only difference between Warren and our current Prez is the color of their vaginas. 0bama has 100% confidence that Warren will keep all of his crimes concealed, but Hillary?.. Not so much!!.

Warren makes me ill. Watching females foam at the mouth for her will make me even more ill. It's like watching Sandra Fluke's 2012 speech all over again but much much worse.

One could have said the same thing about Obama in 2007. Executive ability and competence are not among the criteria that the left uses to select its candidates. The ability of conservatives to produce actual, documented negatives in a leftist candidate’s background have the potential to damage that candidate enough that they are unable to successfully run. The last thing the US needs right now is another cipher pushed into office solely because their presence makes the left “feel good” about themselves. The office of the President is not the venue for guilt assuagement.

They are not looking for accomplishment, clearly. Not with Obama, and not with whoever follows him. They are looking for another pantomime president who will keep the camera’s attention while the Committee governs.

You bet she’s running, and she’s supported by the same bunch of Sixties radicals that suckered the public into electing Obama. IMO she’s more dangerous than Hillary if that can be imagined! Her school marm appearance is totally misleading: she’s a very dangerous person.

Warren comes across as a professor who has no experience in the real world. The left will steal the caucuses and manipulate the press to get her in.

However the Blue collar Democrats and blacks would vote for Hillary, especially if Bill helped her. The wild card is her health.

Sarah didn’t have to fake being an Indian because she is married to an Eskimo. Todd is one half or one quarter blood and even her kids would be eligible for preference.

And unlike Warren, who claims her family opposed and supposedly hid their connection, Sarah never tried to pretend Todd or her kids were inferior because of it,.

Abortion, birth control and screwing over America’s producing class.

Go beyond those three issues and Lieawatha is a fish out of water.

It was as though she were back at Harvard Law School, using the Socratic method

More like a typical Massachusetts school committee meeting, and she was the smug school marm telling parents that they've had their turn to speak.

“People will be told she is a compelling figure and they’ll nod their heads in agreement.”

I couldn’t agree more... increasing numbers of Americans prefer to be told whom to vote for. Doing their own research is too tedious for them.

The babble from the rabble is Elizabeth Warren in 2016.

Meet the new god, same as the old god.

Liberals are hopeless.

A nothing coming from nowhere? We’ve been through this before.

I can hardly wait to hear Granny "Fauxcahontas" Warren's version of this Stierscheiße:

She's got a small, hard core following that's pumping her up beyond her capabilities, and plus Obama apparently is talking her up behind the scenes. Outside of that, she's dull, has no political skills, and most importantly, is not black.

In other words, she'll be a disaster for the Rats if she runs.

Per tribal historians and genealogy experts the only Indian in her past would be from an arrow or axe lodged in one of her ancestors.

I don’t discount this. A nothing coming from nowhere? We’ve been through this before.

And we helped - twice. But, like they say, luck comes in threes....
