Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Clerics Sanction 'Anal Jihad' for Lonely Militants

A prominent Egyptian cleric has accused the Muslim Brotherhood of sanctioning 'anal jihad' for Islamic militants who are fighting in locations thousands of miles from their wives.

In his televised comments, which were broadcast by the al-Tahrir channel, the preacher Mazhar Shahin said the Muslim fighters are being authorised to freely practice homosexuality under the pretext of waging "jihad in the name of Allah."

The idea was compared with 'sex jihad' - where women are either kidnapped and forced to have intercourse or females who offer themselves to the fighters who are waging jihad. However, the Islamic cleric say the Muslim Brotherhood holy men's approval of homosexual acts is a "catastrophe".

You’d think at some point a sane person would realize that they’re not serving God anymore.

They never were.

A fatwa has been issued in Malaysia & Brunei prohibiting non-Muslims from using the name "Allah" in reference to deity.

Thus, even the Muslim clerics there are admitting that Allah is not the God worshiped by the "people of the Book", Jews & Christians.

BTW, our English word "God" is derived from A German word for deity that predates the arrival of Christianity in Germany. Un-evangelized tribes throughout the world and throughout history have had an imperfect knowledge of the Creator prior to the arrival of Christian missionaries.

These missionaries have often built on this imperfect knowledge to introduce these cultures to the true and living Creator of the universe. While there is danger of syncretism, it does give a starting point for understanding.

Two East African tribes with whom I've worked use the names "Tororut" in one case and "Didiguaria" in the other when speaking of the Creator Supreme Being. In each of their languages these names each mean, "He who lives above the rain", i.e. The Heavenly Creator.

Allah is a contraction of “al ilah”, meaning “the god”. It should not be interpreted as God’s name, but some apparently do. In the same sense, “God” is not really His name either, but since the meaning is clear a name is not really needed.

The Muslim Allah is certainly not God of the Bible, as you say. They consider their relationship to Allah to be a master-slave one, implying there is no gift of free will, and love is an unnecessary part of it.
