You are giving us a good way to think about this horrific disaster.

When we consider the overall economic/political situation, and the currency wars, we have to pause and think about who profits from this?

Is Putin really that clueless, considering that many have described him as a master at geopolitical “chess”? How does he benefit from making such a miscalculation?

And, who is our present government aligned with in this conflict; how might they hope to profit from placing the blame on Putin/Russia?

How will Europe reacts, dependent as they are on Russia’s oil and gas, and economic trade?

I better go get another roll of Reynolds Wrap, because there is a possibility that this may not be Russia’s fault at all, but an effort by some in the west to fight back against Putin’s control over Europe, not to mention his new alliances with China and Saudi Arabia.

So, see what happens when we are lied to by our government, and our press no longer actually investigates independently of the “party line”?

I would describe what happened as a "horrific crime", not just a "horrific disaster".

I better go get another roll of Reynolds Wrap, because there is a possibility that this may not be Russia’s fault at all...

Unnamed sources are BS.

What worries me is that they are not treating this like they treated the Ukraine accidental shoot down of a Russian commercial plane. Or the US accidentally shoot down of an Iranian civilian airliner. Why treat the situations differently ? They are assuming the rebels wanted to bring down a civilian plane, when previously the rebels had only shot down military planes.
