Euphoric Hamas needs to hear that Israel will oust it from Gaza if necessary
The Times of Israel ^ | Saturday, July 19, 2014 | Avi Issacharoff

The Qatari ceasefire initiative, first reported by the Times of Israel Saturday, illustrates how the continuing escalation of the conflict in Gaza has actually got nothing to do with Israel itself. Unfortunately, Israel has found itself tangled up in a battle of far wider proportions — a war between two competing axes in the Sunni Muslim world.

On the one side are Egypt and the Palestinian Authority, with Jordan and Saudi Arabia likely to join them in the next couple of days. On the other, Qatar, Turkey and Hamas, as well as other global supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood.

This is a proxy war for all intents and purposes. Make no mistake, Hamas remains committed to the destruction of Israel. But Hamas is firing rockets at Tel Aviv and sending terrorists through tunnels into southern Israel while aiming, in essence, at Cairo. It is backed in this by Doha and Ankara.

What arises from this state of affairs, and from Hamas’s baseless demands as they appear in the Qatari ceasefire proposal, is that this crisis is far from over.

Hamas is confident, even euphoric. In recent days, people who came in contact with the Palestinian terror organization’s leaders report that the sense they are broadcasting is that Hamas is besieging Tel Aviv, and that it will be starting its invasion of Israel shortly, not that the IDF is striking hard at Gaza, has its ground troops hitting Hamas in the Palestinian enclave, and is setting back the Hamas terrorist infrastructure by years ...

In a meeting with Palestinian Authority President Abbas in Cairo on Wednesday, Moussa Abu Marzouk, the deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau, dismissed Abbas’s pleas regarding a ceasefire, explaining that “what are 200 martyrs compared with lifting the siege [on the Gaza Strip?]”

You thought this war was between Israel and Hamas! BUT, it's now seen as a war between TWO COMPETING GROUPS in the Middle East, with Israel simply being used as a PAWN between them. The rockets are nonetheless real and damaging and people do get killed, but it's REALLY not Israel as the focal point. If you understand that, things will fit together better, in your understanding.

Israel is "lining up" with the Egypt/Jordan/Saudi Arabia faction, as we've already seen with their cooperation with Egypt!

Better it and all islamists be destroyed.

Note: They’ll do it to us unless we do it to them first. Unfortunately, that’s the way it works.

All the while Obama twiddles his thumbs, does campaign fundraisers and prepares for another lavish Martha’s Vineyard vacation.

Israel can’t afford to be the little guy between two huge Middle East Islamic factions. Israel will get ground down in the process.

If Hamas is the focal point of these two factions (one faction wanting to destroy Hamas and the other wanting to protect and expand Hamas) — THEN — Israel WILL HAVE TO deal with Hamas strongly, and destroy them in Gaza, because those two other factions will run over Israel (in the process of the battle with each other).

Fortunately, Israel is currently lined up with the Egypt-Jordan-Saudi Arabia faction, and since they’re physically closer “to the action” they do have the advantage. AND ... it’s in Israel’s interests to protect Egypt and Jordan, the two that Israel has treaties with!

One more thing ... the USA needs to line up and back the Egypt-Jordan-Saudi Arabia faction — because “behind the scenes, IRAN is lurking with the other side!

Likewise, the USA needs to help ASSAD in Syria and back him, not the Al Qaida/Syrian rebels!

“THIS SITUATION” ... by the way ... is what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was talking about when he said he had to take into consideration the entire region of the Middle East and that there were things he couldn’t talk about.

King Obama supports the radical Muslims.

Those who are not radical are considered apostate by the true, Qur'an believing Islamists. They'll kill them just as quickly as us Infidels.

Israel has already shown they are lining up with the Egypt/Jordan/Saudi Arabia faction, and that’s their best choice.

All Moslems are Islamists. It is in their manual of operation. If they are not Islamists- Jihadists, they are not Moslems. The Islamic War will finally end when everyone still alive is Moslem or when no one is. There will be another hiatus in the Islamic War when the main Islamic entity suffers a defeat so massive and destructive that there are no "excess" resources available for Jihad and all Moslems come to believe that allah does not will for Islam to prevail in the current generation.

If the Islamic War comes to an end because Islam has prevailed everywhere then the Intra Islamic War will continue the warfare until there is only one Moslem and there are no other humans left.

I have a rather mixed view of Islam in general as it applies to people living in the United States.

As for immigration, I think there should be a complete moratorium on the followers of Islam being able to move to the United States. I’m sorry, but we’re essentially at war, and destabilizing the U. S. is a serious threat. Moving in people who may or may not be terrorists is a crap shoot we shouldn’t be participating in.

It’s also my take that Visas to Islamic adherents should be very few and far between. We have very good reason for this. It doesn’t have to mean we dislike any nation in particular, but that we are exposed to serious harm, and we must be careful. This is reasoned.

Now, for those already here, I believe we should keep our eyes and ears open, identifying potential threats and removing those threats from our soil.

Anyone stands up on an airliner at 30,000 feet and starts chanting Islamic phrases, ship them out. We don’t need to tolerate these sorts of insults. We don’t need to tolerate those who wish to live under Sharia Law here. If they want Sharia Law, deport them to the nation of their choice, that will accept them.

As for the rest of the Islamic adherents in the U. S., if they are focused on the day to day of their family, I have no problem with them. If they are focused on Islamic activism, then they need to be watched and scrutinized. We are at war. We need to act as if we realize that, and take necessary precautions.

There are many Islamic adherents in this nation that are simply trying to live their lives, absent the political and terrorist mindsets. If this weren’t true, we would see massive terrorist activity in the U. S., far in excess of what we do today.

We shouldn’t be exposed to the degree we are. It’s a war-time setting, and we should be adhering to the rules of common sense related to a war-time footing.

I think I would add one thing and that is that any wannabe “immigrant” that refuses to publicly denounce their murderous Islamic Adherents should be dis-allowed entry into the U.S. and/or any benefit, service or consideration of any kind or nature whatsoever that involved U.S. Taxpayer’s money!
