According to the movie, they are only going to die worse deaths in the next few months.
Good time to buy MH stock..
I worked in an office with a guy (we worked for different firms), a pretty prominent guy and he traveled to Europe fairly often. He was supposed to be on that flight (to England I think it was) that went down off the coast of Canada (many think the Muslim co-pilot downed it on purpose, but I don’t know if that was ever really established as fact).
In fact, for whatever reason, he kept changing his mind. Book me, cancel me, book me, cancel me.
He was very lucky he stopped when he did.
I missed a connector flight last month and the thought ran through my head of “what if something happens to the plane I was supposed to be on.” Thankfully it arrived at its destination without incident.
These guys are stoked to have missed the flight. (I know, Captain Obvious comment)
The story does not make sense. It says they booked a retun ticket to the Netherlands. The plane was going in the other direction as per this article.
“Flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was carrying 283 passengers of different nationalities and 15 crew when it crashed in Ukraine.
The Boeing 777 jet left Amsterdam at 12.15pm (Netherlands time) on Thursday and was to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 6.10am (Malaysian time) on Friday. “

It appears to me to be a bogus story.
A friend of ours was booked on Pan Am 103, but missed the flight. His family did not know he wasn’t on it when it went down.
