Thanks.
I was not necessarily saying prayers for the Menorah, but for Jerusalem, Israel, and God's people, the Jews.

Prayers are not said for the Menorah. There are no representations of a deity allowed in Judaism. The prayers are to thank the Lord for commanding the Jews to kindle the light. If you go to a synagogue you will see no representations of the Lord, just as we learn when Moses descends Sinai. No images.

Lord Almighty, I plea your protection over the Jewish nation. Protect your people and give them strength, bravery and supernatural wisdom.
Oh G-d of Israel, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, G-d of the house of David, confuse the enemies of your people. Show your awesome power and vanquish those who come against you and your people. You are the great I AM, all knowing, Holy and true. We worship you and give you thanx for your love, mercy and provision Abba. I pray these things for the sake of your son, Messiah Jesus. Amen! Amen!
