Hope all is well with yon fellow freepers.
Last week when the plane fell from the sky and war raged in Israel, I quickly booted up the puter and went right to FreeRepublic.
I type this with hopes that yon freepers contribute to the freepathon because every once in a while you need FreeRepublic more than you might think.
Thank you AB for doing this thread. Thank you yon fellow freepers for joining in and offering your many and varied wisdoms.

Lookit, for a country to deliberately blow a passenger airline out of the air is an act of war and nothing less.
And Obama’s at fundraisers and as of yet has refused to even mention Russia in connection with that downed aircraft.
And if blowing an airplane out of the air ain’t enough, now the Russian sepratists in Ukraine are BUSY MESSING WITH THE BODIES AND WRECKAGE!
Still, nothing from Obama.
And how about Israel and Gaza?
Anybody remember Arafat? He spent years lobbing missiles at Israel as Albright and Hillary kissed his perverted face.
Just who the hell do those people think they are, since when is lobbing rockets into a neighbor country an okay thing to do?
I’m hoping that this talk show Sunday is filled with explanations and where America is going with all this.
Maybe I’ll be surprised and our pathetic president will show some courage.

Kerry claims to know but talks about movements of arms
turned over to separatists
and radar image pickups of the launch, cites social media claims,
cites picking up voice-int.
Wallace: If this outrage of unspeakable proportion
(why is there no sanctions against Putin).
Kerry:" We encourage our European friends that
this is a wakeup call."
Incredible, by ignoring the facts (dead) on the ground,
it is clear that -- as he promised -- Obama has become 'more flexible'.
FOX plays a vid of Obama lying (in Europe?) that
he has put on 'sanctions' when there are apparently none.
Kerry knew Obama lied, and tries to cover it up.
Wallace points out that Obama lied about Iran sanctions, too.
The date which sanctions were to be delivered was TODAY,
and instead Obama gave them $2,000,000,000 to increase
their enrichment.
Kerry makes a series of false statements saying they have
"rolled back", and "Israel is safer".
Like a lawyer Kerry defends Iran, and when interrupted
and corrected by Wallace, Kerry gets ugly and lies more.
Kerry: "Everything Iran has said they would do, they did do."
Kerry is a Sister-Secretary of State for the Mullahs.
BTW, Neither Kerry nor FOX discuss the most important
anniversary this day represents ... to Americans.
A day without John Kerry is like a day without laughter.

Wallace wonders why Cruz is opposed to Obama’s request for more money to deal with the border crisis.
Cruz responds that that will not resolve the problem. To resolve the problem Congress or the President has to end the amnesty that caused this current tidal wave of children. You have to eliminate the magnet — Obama’s amnesty order.
Reid — radical Republicans are trying to hold these kids hostage.
Cruz — Reid (and Obama) live in a bubble and are far removed from reality. Reid claims the border is secure.
Wallace — how do you help the kids to say you gotta stay in Central America — not to say those kids are our responsibility.
[Huh??????? Wallace speaks out of both sides of his mouth in a single question in the form of a statement.]
Why is Kerry yapping about drunken soldiers.
