The tranquillity of Obama's mind
CNN.com ^ | 7/18/2014 | Newt Gingrich

Posted on 07/20/2014 6:36:19 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

When White House press secretary Josh Earnest said this week that President Barack Obama had "substantially improved the tranquillity of the global community," many observers reacted with disbelief.

When the President refused to go to the U.S.-Mexico border last week to see the crisis of young people flooding into the United States because "he's not interested in photo ops," lesser mortals noted he had played pool with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, dropped by a brewery to have a beer and shook hands with a man wearing a horse-head mask.

When he went to Delaware on Thursday and opened with a few sentences about the shooting down of a Malaysian airliner in Ukraine before joking about Joe Biden and going back to his prepared text on infrastructure, many thought he had failed to take seriously an international disaster. They were even less impressed when he had lunch at the Charcoal Pit and ordered burgers and fries (not a photo op, of course). It was not until 24 hours later that he took to the podium to promise an aggressive investigation.

With the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria causing the collapse of Iraq and continued violence in Syria, the Syrian dictatorship consolidating its power, the Iranians failing to take steps to end their nuclear weapons program and Hamas firing more than 1,000 rockets at Israel, the President and his team have moved decisively to brief The New York Times on his passion for late-night intellectual dinners exploring physics, architecture and questions far more profound than the fate of the Middle East.

It is as though the more dangerous the world becomes the more Obama hides in a fantasy world of avoiding the responsibilities of the presidency.

Islam means "Peace".
Islam means "Submission".

Obama is bragging that there is more Islam in the world -- more "tranquility".

STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE The “no drama Obama” emerged during the 2008 campaign, when his staff marveled at how he kept his calm during political turbulence. From the Rev. Jeremiah Wright revelations to the meltdown of the economy, Obama made only brief detours before getting back on message. His script called for “investments” in education and energy and ending the war in Iraq, and he stuck to that script.

Back then, his coolness seemed a virtue, especially compared to John McCain’s combustibility.

But nowadays, the coolness looks like indifference bordering on contempt. How else to explain his decision to go to fund-raisers, only hours after the horror in Ukraine?

=============================================

Valerie Jarrett, WH aide, and longtime Obama family friend, described Obama to biographer David Remnick in terms that make the Oval Office sound beneath Obama.

“I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is,” Remnick quoted her as saying. “He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is.”

She goes on in that vein, adding: “He’s been bored to death his whole life. He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”

Or even ordinary presidents, apparently. (NY POST 7/20/14).

The comments following this completely rational and sane op-ed are illustrative of how far America has fallen down the toilet. Voters like these morons are why we have been saddled with this cretinous president to begin with.

I wonder when, if ever, Obama will deign to demonstrate his extraordinary talents so that we might marvel at them.

I, for one, am curious as to what those talents might be...and how they might have ANY practical application.

Hmmm. Interesting.

That might be precisely what Obama is thinking when he speaks of tranquility.

It is easy to act like you don’t care when you don’t care.

Those “talents” would be dissembling, deceit and destruction.

It is as though the more dangerous the world becomes the more Obama hides.....avoiding the responsibilities of the presidency.

Well, to be fair, he seems to be VERY concerned about Central America and its citizens:
<><>sending our tax dollars and resources to help violate our borders,
<><>chartering buses and planes to dump them on unsuspecting towns,
<><> planning WH meetings on how to get more new Democrat voters across the border,
<><> registering the multiple identities w/ the DNC,
<><> handing out apps for riding the US gravy train, and so on.

================================================

Come on, give the guy a break.....it's tough tallying his offshore holdings, polishing his golf clubs, begging Michelle for a roll in the hay....he simply "forgot" he's president of these United States, and is sworn to protect its interests and its citizens (cackle.)

If Obama ever leaves office, I know the perfect place for his retirement, if the family of the late Michael Jackson agree to donate it in the national interest: Neverland.

Very few in politics today are as smart as the author of this article, and none as accomplished.

We would be far better off today if Newt Gingrich was our president.

Two years ago it was “Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive”, although it quickly became clear that Detroit is dead and Al Queda owns Iraq.

Today the party line is “the border is secure and the world is tranquil”, and as hard as it is to believe, there are idiots who actually buy into that as well.

“President Barack Obama had “substantially improved the tranquillity of the global community,”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He can’t even “improve” his own nation let alone a ‘global community’.

Good thing his mother is not around to see what the world’s adversary has done to him.

The tranquillity of Obama's mind

I guess an empty mind is a "tranquil" mind.

Two years ago (duping voters on the campaign trail) Obama announced “Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive”.....although it quickly became clear that Detroit is dead and Al Queda owns Iraq.

LOL----good one.

The guy is totally scripted---nothing he says is off the cuff. GQ labeled him an "eloquent hat rack"...one of the sorriest world leaders.

After he stole the WH first time around---his Chicagoland gangsters said they let the media know ONLY what THEY wanted them to know.

We really do not know much about this ding-a-ling----he could have a rap sheet back in Chicagoland, for all we know....though it was prolly "lost" in the Chicago fire (cackle) .
