Secretary of State John Kerry said the White Hosue is not considering a military response to the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, even as rebels he believes were supplied the missile launcher by Russia plunder bodies and airplane parts from the wreckage.

“Nobody’s talking about military. The point is that we’re trying to do this in a thoughtful way with a maximum amount of diplomatic energy and pressure,” Kerry said of the Obama administration's response to Thursday’s killing of 298 people in the skies over eastern Ukraine during an interview with CNN’s Candy Crowley.

Military? Why would we ever consider a military response?

Obama will bring peace to Ukraine the same way he brought it to the Middle East, with the sheer force of his magnetic personality.

After all, that's why he won the Nobel Prize.

I don’t see any options what so ever being seriously considered by the Obama Admin.

‘’Nobody’s talking about military,’’ declares John Kerry, in his clarion call to non-action.

In other words, John Kerry to Ukraine: ‘’Drop Dead!’’

If nobody’s talking military, could someone in the Obama administration at least start talking about lifting restrictions on U.S. natural-gas exports to Europe so the Europeans can begin to free themselves from complete dependence on Russia for its energy needs?

During the Berlin Airlift in 1948, the U.S. supplied food in dangerous times to hungry Germans behind the Iron Curtain, but today our president is too busy to lift a finger to help free the Europeans from Russian domination.

You forget waving a piece of paper at an airport, proclaiming "PEACE!" Yes, there is peace in the grave but cowards come at it from a different direction!

The spat between Russia and the Ukraine is just that. People calling for us to get involved are idiots. We have an open border to take of and we don’t need to fight wars for other countries.

Thanks for letting us know how smart and wise Kerry and Obama are and how much you agree with them. They just don’t get enough credit around here. Obama’s foreign policy is just too nuanced for some idiots to grasp I guess.

“Nobody’s talking about military. The point is that The President has a very busy schedule playing Golf and Fundraising, and just cannot be bothered with trivial matters like this.

Fixed it

How many troops would you like to send?

We should bring our troop levels on NATO’s Eastern border back to Cold War levels and prepare to fight and win World War III. We should send a smaller token NATO peacekeeping force to Ukraine to deter Russian aggression.

A military option with Russia includes, of course, nuclear.
