Love Red Eye Radio!
Fixing to go listen now with one ear open.
I have wondered why Perry cant contract with other states, who are especially impacted by forced housing of these illegals, to help Texas pay towards the 5 million per week to send the reportedly, unarmed National Guard to the Texas border?(Moved your post over to this thread where I broke the story in #68. No second hand stuff for me...)
Other states are spending millions on this insurgency/insurrection/invasion which is caused by Obama.
Actually Texas is spending a lot of course, but fortunately for them lots of these illegal criminal invaders are being dispersed across all the states.
It would be great to see when those unmarked buses get gas what credit card they are using, or if they use cash.
Probably driven by someone from the Dept of Justice or some other Obama controlled org, most likely his Union Thug friends.
If my understanding is correct, Texas has some real good carry laws, so I imagine there will be militia on the border who can play by the rules and be armed.
Is the Nat'l guard really going to the border with on less bullet than Barney Fife was allowed to have?? At least he was allowed to have one...in his shirt pocket...
Please add me, Thanks!
I have family in Texas.
If this is true......and I sure hope it is......and he really has the guts to follow through and do it right.....
...I would honestly reconsider my opinion of him as President!
JUST DO IT!
Like I alluded to in the other posts on this issue...
I hope the folks deployed are not used in ANY way in the “processing” of what is caught...
If we see a single trooper handing out blankets or bottled water, I will definitely call this whole effort BS...
The troopers are NOT there, and should NOT be there to do that nonsense, leave that to the special interest and charity groups...
They should be patrolling the vegetation line, setting up all sorts of interception points, keep moving, never set into a routine, start being that nagging little thing in the minds of those trying to cross illegally into this country...
I guess if there are any Army Vets out there who can tell me that 1000-1200 personnel, does that come out to be battalion strength, maybe about 3 full companies of troops??? I dunno, my office was on the high seas...;-)
At about 12 million in operating expenses per month, the money spent certainly needs to be well worth it with a severe decrease in crossings, increased apprehensions, and increased deportations...And the deportations need to not be utilizing the 12 million allocated for the monthly overhead...
We are going to see (and should realistically expect) a very quick return on our investment, and see where the real bottle neck will be if this gets implemented correctly...
Otherwise, this is an exercise in activist suppression (our side of the issue) on a fairly public, and visible crisis...
A part of me thinks the damage is already done...And this call for the Guard is a long overdue stunt...
Not that it is a slight on Perry or anyone else involved in the decision to do this...There were tremendous pressures and other issues keeping this from being approached for so long, it seems like we are spinning our wheels...
The proof will be in the pudding when we see what kind of impact this will have in the numbers...
I am guardedly optimistic...
Give ‘em hell, Jim !!
Godspeed and God Bless !
I hope a better source than Facebook will soon be forthcoming .
LOL!
I saw that post after I posted mine. :) I’m just thrilled that my governor is trying to handle the situation even though we have to go it without any support from the people who should be helping.
Texas rocks!
Though...I do realize it’s going to take more than this, it’s a start and we’re doing SOMEthing!
Look forward to having the FReepers on the border giving their support and standing for America!
I wonder what the Texas Observer has to say about the mythical War on Women. Hysteria from a bunch of liberal pantywaists.
Very true. It is one of those uber-left publications that prides itself on getting everything wrong.
I saw two separate Guard convoys on the highways around DFW this weekend both headed towards I35 from opposite directions so I would hope they were headed south.
I hope they were on their way to do the work of keeping America safe!
Thanks, MY!
I already have all of this (literally) mapped out for us. Sacred Heart is a Catholic church. Buses don’t leave from Sacred Heart. Some leave from the McAllen Greyhound station and some leave from the McAllen BP station. See previous freepmails for details on locations, schedules, immigrant estimates, etc.
Maybe y’all can get Greta on board, for this mission, as well ;^) ... at the least, for another phone in interview.
Just a thought....never hurts, right?
The BP aren't allowed to do anything, so will these guys?
That is what I hear. I have a way around this. Perry could call up the unorganized militia. The bass boats on the Rio Grande would be so thick one could walk on the river. And citizens can carry loaded weapons.
The interview with Greta was nicely done. Thank you.
