“Testing?” That assclown has been tested so many times I can’t count them. And he’s failed epically every time. There is not one single front on which he has succeeded, from the economy to foreign policy to the budget. The reason is simple: he is unequal to the office. He lacks the experience and the moral fortitude to plot a successful course even in calmer times. He is clearly out of his league in these tenser days.
He never should have been elected the first time, much less the second. He is what we get when idiots vote.

Even if you accept the NYTimes' excuse making - that Obama's dealing with some unprecedented period of global upheaval (nonsense, of course, but play along) - it just goes to show the importance of having a proven leader in the office, surrounded by the crème de la crème of foreign policy experts and strategic global big thinkers.
He's got political hacks and a stable of people picked for their roles because of their race or their gender or who they know or where they went to school or the magnitude of the campaign bundling contributions.
More hacks than a taxi stand.
